Return & Alteration Policy

No — bespoke exemption applies All bespoke and made-to-measure garments from Dhuke Collectibles are personalised items produced exclusively to your specifications. Under Article 16(c) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive (implemented in Article 6:230p(f) Dutch Civil Code), personalised goods are exempt from the standard 14-day right of withdrawal. This applies to all custom suits, tuxedos, safari jackets, wedding suits (trouwpakken), Agbadas, Senators, and made-to-measure trousers.

What we offer instead If your garment requires adjustments after delivery, contact us at info@dhukecollectibles.com within 30 days. We will arrange complimentary alterations at no additional cost at The Dhuke Atelier, Goudreinetgaard 5, 6831AT Arnhem.

Unaltered shirts — 14-day return right If you ordered a corporate shirt in standard sizing without requesting alterations, you have the statutory right to return it within 14 days of delivery under Article 6:230o of the Dutch Civil Code. To initiate a return, contact info@dhukecollectibles.com within 14 days of receiving your order. The item must be returned unworn, unwashed, and in its original condition with all tags attached. Return shipping costs are at your expense unless the item is faulty. We will refund the purchase price within 14 days of receiving the returned item, via your original payment method.

Altered shirts — non-returnable Once you have requested specific alterations, the shirt becomes a personalised item under Article 16(c) of the Consumer Rights Directive and is non-returnable. Alteration services for corporate shirts are chargeable; contact us for a quote.

Within 30 days — complimentary Contact us at info@dhukecollectibles.com within 30 days of your confirmed delivery date. Describe the adjustments needed and, where possible, include photographs. We will arrange a fitting appointment at The Dhuke Atelier in Arnhem at no charge.

After 30 days Alteration requests received after 30 days may be accommodated at our discretion and may be subject to a charge. Contact us to discuss.

Yes — chargeable Alteration services for corporate shirts are available but charged separately, whether at the point of order or after delivery. Contact info@dhukecollectibles.com for a quote. Note that once alterations are applied, the shirt cannot be returned.

Production errors only Refunds are issued only where a confirmed production error cannot be resolved through alteration or replacement. To raise a claim:

1. Contact info@dhukecollectibles.com within 30 days of delivery
2. Include a written description of the defect and clear photographs
3. We will assess your claim within 5 business days and respond with next steps

We will not unreasonably withhold a refund where a genuine production error is confirmed. Refunds will be issued via the original payment method within 14 days of agreeing a resolution.

What is not covered We do not issue refunds for fit preferences, fabric choices, or style decisions made at the point of order. These are confirmed with you during the consultation and measurement process before production begins.

We guarantee the fit Contact us within 30 days of delivery and we will arrange a fitting at The Dhuke Atelier in Arnhem to assess what adjustments are needed. Complimentary alterations are included for all bespoke garments within this window. Dhuke Collectibles guarantees that every garment will be adjusted until it meets the standard agreed at your consultation.

How to exercise your withdrawal right To exercise your right of withdrawal on an unaltered corporate shirt, send a clear written statement or use the following model form to info@dhukecollectibles.com within 14 days of receipt:

"I hereby give notice that I withdraw from the contract for the purchase of [product name], ordered on [date] / received on [date].
Name: ___ Address: ___ Date: ___"

You are not required to use this exact form. Any clear written statement of withdrawal sent within 14 days of receipt is valid.
